Ingredient Spotlight

Tea Tree Oil

This plant-based ingredient from the leaves of tea trees, is known as a skin miracle for its anti-viral and anti-fungal benefits. Tea tree oil is a fantastic remedy for acne, scars and blemishes. It is best for acne-prone oily skin. It’s another ingredient we really love, and we’ve written even more about it on the blog.

Tamanu Oil

This plant-based ingredient from Southeast Asia is a remarkable skin healing agent with anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antibiotic, and antioxidant properties. It takes on many skin concerns including the improvements of acne, scars, stretch marks, skin blemishes, cellulite, minor cuts and abrasions, rashes, age spots, acne scars, psoriasis, dermatitis, eczema, and damaged skin. These qualities all help give you healthy skin you can feel confident in.

Lavender Oil

This popular oil is traditionally used to help relax, to relieve stress and to relieve headaches. In addition to these things, it offers benefits to your skin. It plays a role in healing burns and wounds.

Rosemary Oil

This plant-based oil contains antimicrobial and antiseptic qualities that help to eliminate eczema, dermatitis and acne. It can also give the skin a healthy, even glow while promoting your skin’s healing.

Vitamin E

Vitamin E is a nutrient that is excellent for the maintenance of healthy skin. It has been shown to penetrate layers of the skin to promote healing, the improvement of scars, wrinkles, cuts, and blemishes. Its rich, antioxidant properties prevent premature aging and help clear the skin. This vitamin also encourages the production of collagen, a structural protein partially responsible for the strength and elasticity of the skin.

Shea Butter

We like to call this ingredient nature’s miracle gift to skin. This West African butter is a staple in many of our skincare products. It’s rich in vitamins and nutrients your skin loves like Vitamins A, E, and F, and essential fatty acids. On top of these, shea butter offers anti-inflammatory properties, and it works to protect, repair, and moisturize the skin.

We love this ingredient so much that we’ve dedicated two blog posts to it, you can read them here and here!

Coconut Oil

We’re in love with coconut oil for our skincare products. It’s an ingredient that is easily absorbed into the skin, giving you a softer, healthier, more youthful appearance. It contains high amounts of rich natural fats, Vitamin E, antioxidants, proteins, and triglycerides. These components play a role in strengthening skin tissue, removing dead skin cells, and reducing the appearance of aging. These qualities make it a great ingredient for the promotion of healthy skin.

How to Use

This body butter is perfect for full body use, including as a face moisturize. Apply the skin therapy to your entire body focusing on areas of concern. Massage it into your skin for moisturized, nourished, and relieved skin. We recommend applying it daily.

Store in a cool, dry place.

I bought this Skin Therapy on impulse as I was stressed from work and there was a sale. This was a very good buy. My friend loved it. Still I was skeptical as it felt too gimmicky. Loved it. Felt like a spa and I slept very well that night.

  2. Patricia K.

Skin Therapy does give a glow to the skin. I am unsure if this pills as I usually just use this alone . It is not too oily and skin feels protected from this.
