Meet the Founder: Madeline Nwokeji

Madeline Nwokeji founded Lala Skin Essentials in 2014. The journey to launching the brand was a personal one with its sights set on finding skincare options that worked for her sensitive skin. It was no easy task as mainstream options would irritate and worsen her skin conditions. This led her to approach the problem from a different vantage point, developing natural skincare formulas.

Realizing that conventional options were doing her skin more harm than good, she began creating her own products. She researched extensively to find the best ingredients to nourish and care for her skin. She paired her research with testing and training to polish her skills, and to start creating products that truly work and nourish the skin. She found success in this process and even began sharing her handmade goods with her family and friends — who received them with joy and were pleased with the results they saw.

It was these reactions that drew her towards starting Lala Skin Essentials. The products were instantly loved by customers for being eco-friendly, effective and luxurious. Now she continues to research and formulate skincare solutions to meet the many needs of all skin types. She develops results-driven formulations with her team, all while maintaining her belief that natural ingredients are the best for everyone’s skin and our planet.
